"I Love You"...
As we continue to make progress on our ministry base project, we have had many interesting experiences. Though Valentines Day has just passed, as our youngest team member Malchijah demonstrated today...take each opportunity to show your love. God gave love to the world. Though we were sinners He sent Jesus. Perhaps it's time to say again "here I am... just to say you're my God. I love you!"

Sophisticated as a classic tuxedo, yet simple wintertime treats like no other. These cookies offer perfect harmony when served with fresh orange juice, tea, or coffee. The egg helps these become more safely portable than traditional lace cookies.Servings: Makes about 24.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped almonds
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg, beaten to blend
Preparation ...
Preheat oven to 325F. Line large baking sheet with parchment paper. Stir 3/4 cup butter in heavy medium saucepan over medium-low heat until melted. Remove from heat. Stir in nuts, sugar, flour, orange peel and salt; then stir in egg. Drop some batter by generous tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet, spacing 3 inches apart (cookies will spread). Bake cookies until lacy and golden brown, about 15 minutes. Gently slide parchment paper with cookies onto rack; cool completely. Transfer cookies to paper towels. Repeat with remaining batter, lining cooled baking sheet with clean parchment for each batch. (Can be made ahead. Store between sheets of waxed paper in airtight container at room temperature up to 1 week or freeze up to 1 month.)

Saturday, along with hundreds of participants in the Annual Christmas Parade we joined with Astatula Baptist Church. Celebrating the Christmas Spirit just outside Orlando, FL. The parade includes marching bands, school and community groups dressed to the theme of the season. We were privileged to herald onlookers with "Go Tell It on the Mountain!" Judges awarded the presentation 1st place! Commenting on the "fantastic musical package presented." We are thankful for the opportunity to share the message of hope and love in this unique way this season. Tell it everywhere..."Jesus Christ is born!"

Sudan. We try to reach out and touch lives around the globe for Christ. Tricia in various times when traveling uses travel time to put together hand-made quilts. Recently we received a letter asking for christians in the USA to help encourage christians who are being persecuted in the Sudan by sending a blanket. We have the privilege to send hand-made quilts to encourage fellow believers who are suffering. Will you reach out? There are many different opportunities... visit www.persecution.com.
