Hitch up for the ride of your life!
Throughout our trek to the West, settlers encounter many learning opportunities through drama, stories, songs, and skits. This is an action-packed time is full of special-effects, multimedia, games, and hands-on experience. Our primary goal is teaching kids the importance of: godly friendships, how to be a godly friend, and how to know the best friend-Jesus Christ.
With the help of trail guides (church volunteers) we guide the settlers (children) along the "trail."
Our CAST includes, Brave Sidekick, Chief Wisewalker, and Settler Sam. Each of them help portray the daily struggles on the trail. Along with these Trapper Wilder and Dinah Mite help settlers learn how to live on the light side while in the saddle. The puns, gags, juggling, and comedy are hard to beat!
Our special feature-Joy Mingled with Tears-is a true story brought to life through careful research from the writings of Catherine Sager. Encouraging settlers to remember that through the difficulties in life you can have joy if you know Jesus. Proverbs 17:17- "A friend loveth at all times."
